TRICK-- avoid having Your Facebook profile indexed by search engines?

When someone searches for your profile on search engines (Google, Yahoo and Live for example) they'll hit your public search instance (that includes a thumbnail, your name as recorded on Facebook database, your regional network etc'). That's apparently what happened in the situation you mentioned. You can easily keep your online privacy by avoid having your public search listing crawled (and thus shown) by search engines. Please follow these steps in order to do so:

1-Login to your Facebook account

2-Hit Privacy

3-Hit Search

4-Now deselect the following statement: "Create a public search listing for me and submit it for search engine indexing."

5-Hit Save

Voi'la you have just made sure that your profile won't be showing up on search engines. If for whatever reason your profile is currently showing up on Google, Yahoo or other search engines, and you want to remove it from the search engine results, i recommend that you execute the above mentioned procedure. Then allow a month or so to have it removed from the search engine result pages.

TRICK-- Change Your Facebook "Background color" appearance.

FRIENDS asks: I would like to change my Facebook background.Not sure it’s possible as all Facebook profiles layout look similar to me. Any clues?

Answer:

I have addressed this issue in my post on how to modify your Facebook background colors. One of Facebook’s key features is the uniformly clean and non cluttered UI that makes the application easy on the eye, and thus, i believe that chances we will be able to customize the background layout color scheme of our Facebook is low.

 What we can do, is to leverage Mozilla Firefox, Greasemonkey and the Facebook Auto-Colorizer script in order to display custom backgrounds for all Facebook profiles and photo albums we browse. The pages color scheme is built dynamically in order to match the photos displayed in the page 

Important note: This trick will only work only when you access Facebook from a Mozilla Firefox browser with Greasemonkey and the Auto-Colorizer scripts installed.

TRICK-- Hide Your online status on Facebook

Friends asks: How can i hide my online status on Facebook, so friends and network members won’t know if i am online now?

Lately Facebook has integrated the ability to manage your online status in the newly released chat application In order to change your online status, just click the little chat icon in the bottom right corner of your web browser (while signed into Facebook) and pick “Go Online” or “Go Offline” option when prompted.

This setting controls the online status in your previously changeable through Privacy>>Profile.

Here’s what you need to do in order to hide the “I am online now.” signal on Facebook:

1- Login to Facebook.com

2- Hit Privacy and then Profile

3- In the drop down on the right side of the Online Status select either  Only Me or No one.

TRICK-- MANAGE FACEBOOK CHAT WITH "Friend" LISTS

Friend lists on facebook make it so you can appear online to some friend lists while appearing offline to 

other lists of friends.If you only wanted to talk to your best friends, for example, then simply create a list called best friends and leave in online, and set all other lists to offline.

TRICK-- UPDATE FACEBOOK VIA "sms" TEST MASSAGES

If you already have facebook synced with your phone you can send a status update by sending a text message to 32665.  Syncing your phone with facebook is a simple seven step process.

1- Login to facebook.

2- Click on Account, and account settings.

3- Click the Mobile tab.

4- you will see a link for “Register for Facebook Mobile Texts”. Click this link and fill out the information 

requested, including your cell phone number.

5- A text message with a confirmation code will then be sent to your phone.

6- Add in this confirmation code at the website listed in the text. At this point you are registered to update your Facebook message with texts.

7- Now you can update your status by sending a text message to 32665.

Trick in Facebook friends Photos displayed, each in 50×50 pixels forming

Remove Hide Stop and Disable Facebook Group or Chats

Go to Facebook Group Page, Click on ‘Edit Settings’ at the top and Uncheck “Send me group chat messages”. to avoid Group Chat in your profile .And if you want to remove this group from your profile then Select Never show  group in home navigation.

Your Facebook Account And Profile Delete, Cancel And Terminate.

Facebook is a popular social networking website comparable to MySpace.You may receive many invite requests from friends, coursemates, colleagues or family members to join Facebook to connect with them. So

you join and sign up a Facebook account but think that may be a phone call is a much better way to bring relationship with friends closer or Facebook account has seriously invaded your privacy and security, you can easily terminate, delete or cancel Facebook account, together with the Facebook 

profile.

1. Sign in to Facebook account.
2. Click on Account link on the top right corner.

3. On the “Settings” tab (click on Settings if you’re not already there), click on deactivate at the end of “Deactivate Account” line.

4. “Confirm Facebook Account Deactivation” page will load. Select one of the reasons why you want to delete your Facebook account, such as I don’t feel safe on the site, I spend too much time using Facebook, I have another Facebook account, This is temporary. I’ll be back, I need to fix something in my account, I don’t understand how to use the site, I receive too many emails from Facebook, I don’t find Facebook useful or Facebook is resulting in social drama for me. If you have some special reason on why you want to terminate your Facebook account not listed in the list, click on Other and type in your own explanation in the text box provided.

5. If you no longer want to receive any invite, notification of friend requests, tag in photos, or ask you to join groups from Facebook, click and tick the check box of Opt out of receiving emails from Facebook. option to opt out and NOT receive these email invitations and notifications from your friends.

6. Click on Deactivate button.

7. Once the Facebook account is deactivated, the following message will appear:Your Facebook account has been deactivated.To reactivate your account, simply log in as you normally would, and we’ll send you a reactivation email.Come back soon,The Facebook Team

8. Now your Facebook account is deactivated, but still can be reactivated. So do not attempt to login with to your Facebook account anymore, as doing so will reactivate your account if you click on the reactivation confirmation link sent to your registered email. According to Facebook Privacy Policy, removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of Facebook. So probably wait for a few months or years before attempting to login to verify that all your information is cleaned.

Although can be reactivated and restore your profile in its entirety (friends, photos, interests, etc), deactivation works to completely remove your profile and all associated content on your account from Facebook. In addition, users will not be able to search for you or view any of your information.
