You can now use Facebook chat to make video calls to your Friends. All you need is a webcam and a microphone. (If you don't have a webcam, you can still receive video calls; your Friends just won't be able to see you.) However, before you start video calling, you'll need to set it up. To Set Up Video Calling: Navigate to the Facebook Video Calling page and click Get Started.
Choose a Friend to call from the chat window in the bottom-right corner.
A chat window will open. Click the Video Call icon.
Facebook will prompt you to set up video calling.Click Set Up.
The Facebook Video Call Setup file will begin downloading. At this point, Facebook willprovide numbered, step-by-step instructions for setting up video calling. Follow these instructions.
Once you've finished set up, your video call will begin. After the other person has answered your call, click Start Video to enable your video. Your call will be connected. To end a call, hover your mouse over the top-right corner of the video and click the x that appears.
